Welcome to Hobo Books!
A wandering library for curious minds. Find your next read in the wild.
Once upon a time, there were special books called Hobo Books who traveled around the country meeting new people, sharing their wonderful stories, and searching for a place to call home.
About Hobo Books
Hey there! I'm so glad you're here!
I'm guessing it's probably because you found one of the Hobo Books—YAY! Thanks for checking out the site too. I really appreciate it.
Hobo Books is my traveling hobby. I leave books behind wherever I go, hoping someone like you will discover, enjoy, and maybe pass them along. Each Hobo Book is numbered and has a unique sticker and bookmark I created along with a message to the person who finds it.
What you do with your Hobo Book is entirely up to you—keep it for yourself, leave it for someone else to find, or pass it along to a someone you know. And if you decide to add the book to your own collection, you can create a new Hobo Book just by moving the bookmark to a different book and sending it on its way.
I'd love to know that you found one of the Hobo Books and where it ended up going. If you wouldn't mind helping me track your Hobo Book's progress, you can log it in using the form below. Not into forms? No problem—you can text me at (828) 380-1036 or or email me at contact@hobobooks.org.
This project is all about sharing the love of reading, so no pressure. Whether you log it or not, I’m just happy you found a Hobo Book. Enjoy!
